Adverb gets a $1 billion robot order from Reliance

Newly-acquired Addverb Technologies has received orders valued around $1 billion, contact four to five years, from Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries for robots with 5G technology.

Reliance Retail picked up a majority stake within the Noida-based AI startup for $132 million last month.

The startup is an associate intra-logistics automation resolution supplier. It builds AI and automation solutions for factories and warehouses.

Adverb was aforesaid that a tagging inventory consisting of a fleet of generator two hundred bots is being employed for intra-logistics operations within the plant at Jamnagar. The robots are nearly connected through a 5G network and are controlled through Legion, it’s fleet management system hosted over the remote server set in Ahmedabad.

The robots are going to be deployed in Reliance Industries (RIL s) Jamnagar works, a TOI report quoting sources aforesaid. they’ll be operated out of Bombay, which can permit RIL to experiment with 5G technical schools.
